Wellons departed this life Friday, November 25, 1921, in her seventy-fifth year. She had been in a feeble condition for several months but was not considered seriously ill until the last few days of her life. She leaves to mourn their loss one daughter, Mrs. H.P. Beale of Sedley; one son, Livius Edward Wellons of Greenville, N.C.; a brother R.B. Worrell; a sister, Mrs. Sarah Barnes, and a number of grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted from her late home November 26 by Rev. J.E. Brooks of Courtland and interment was made in Poplar Spring Cemetery, Franklin. The pallbearers were F.W. Stortz, H.P Taylor, Alex Bradshaw, J.W. Bradshaw, Geo. B. Vick and Stanley Morris.
