She was a daughter of William and Mrs. Susannah Davis Wellons of Southampton County. She was one of the oldest members of Black Creek Meeting. Surviving are one sister, Miss Mattie C. Wellons of Williamsburg, and four brothers, J.D. Wellons of Maples, Fla., and W.B. Wellons, Cecil Wellons and Paul T. Wellons of Sedley. A funeral service will be held at the grave in Rosemont Cemetery, Sedley, Thursday (today) at 11 a.m. by the Rev. G.L. Gatlin, pastor of Sedley Baptist Church, and Harry Wellons of Victory.
