Williams, 71, of 2314 Franklin Ave., Colonial Heights, died Monday morning at Petersburg General Hospital. A native of Southampton County, she was a retired employee of Brown & Williamson Tobacco Company and a member of Crowder Memorial Baptist Church. Mrs. Williams was the daughter of the late Wade R. and Lilah Joyner Munford and the widow of Harvey L. Williams who died in 1973. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Mary Leigh Richardson of Norfolk; a brother, Roland L. Munford of Dinwiddie; two grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Home with the Rev. Ned Stewart of Crowder Memorial Baptist Church and the Rev. Wade Munford of Franklin officiating. Burial will be in Southlawn Memorial Park, Petersburg. The family will receive friends at the E. Alvin Small Funeral Home from 7 to 8:30 tonight.
