A native of Nansemond County, she was the widow of Lepena Benjamin Williams and a daughter of the Samuel J. and Mrs. Bettie Lewis Worrell. She was a member of Holland Baptist Church. Surviving are five sons, Matthew D. Williams, Woodrow W. Williams of Philadelphia and Lewis Williams of St. Petersburg, Fla; three daughters, Mrs. Martha W. Irby of Sandston, Mrs. Mary W. Whitley of Suffolk and Mrs. Louise W. Lawrence of Courtland; 23 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. A funeral service was conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. in W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home, Franklin, by the Rev. Carl Ousley of Holland Baptist Church and the Rev. Saint Elmo Nauman of Franklin Congregational Christian Church. Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery, Franklin. Pallbearers were Wallace Mason, Willard Beale, Sr., George Jakeman, Jimmy Worrell, Roy Worrell and Clinton Worrell. Naomie (WORRELL; Mrs. Lepena B.)
