ANNIE LEE WORRELL

   Annie Lee Worrell, 12 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emmett F. Worrell, 
died Sunday night, January 6, at her home near Branchville following an 
illness of a few weeks.  The funeral was held from the home Tuesday afternoon 
conducted by Rev. A.W. Coates of Drewryville, interment following in Newsoms 
Cemetery.  Several selections were sung by the choir of Hebron Church and Mrs. 
H.M. Purviance sang at the grave.

   The fifth grade pupils of Boykins High School attended in a body and acted 
as honorary pallbearers. Active pallbearers were Edward Ricks, William Vick, 
Otis Davis and Velton Lewis.

   She is survived by her parents; four sisters, Mrs. J.B. Ferguson and Mrs. 
C.L. Hardison of Branchville, Mrs. W.R. Johnson of Newsoms, and Miss Lucy 
Worrell and one brother, Howard Worrell.
