CLARA B., GEORGE B. AND SALLIE I. WORRELL

   Miss Clara B. Worrell was born in Southampton County, June 6, 1889, and 
died at her home near Mt. Horeb church January 13, 1919.  In speaking of her 
death there comes to us the memory of her sweet, gentle and steadfast 
character.  She was converted in her early life and joined Mt. Horeb church 
of which she was a member at the time of her death.  For two years she taught 
faithfully the primary class of our Sunday school and was one of the few to 
win the prize awarded for perfect attendance.  Her neighbors knew her to be a 
kind and ever ready friend in time of need.

   Mr. George B. Worrell was born in Southampton County, October 21, 1894, and 
died January 3, 1919.  His loved ones here will long mourn his death because of 
his tender solicitude he always manifest for their comfort and welfare. Tho’ 
God has seen fit to take him may His rod and staff comfort those loved ones 
all along life’s rugged pathway.

   Miss Sallie I. Worrell was born April 1, 1899 and died January 8, 1919. 
Those who knew her best speak only kindness of her, saying "She did her task 
conscientiously and scrupulously well."

   Whereas God has taken these two sisters and one brother, our Sunday school 
members, to His Heavenly Home, be it resolved:
 
   First, that we feel the loss in our Sunday school and community;

   Second, that we will emulate their virtues;

   Third, That we pray God’s benediction on the bereaved family;

   Fourth, That a copy of this be placed on our records and one sent to their 
mother, and that these resolutions be published in the Tidewater News.
