Holland and Sons Funeral Home by the Rev. Carl Lee Ousley and the Rev. Harry Bunch. Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery in Franklin. Pallbearers were Foushee Railey, Leon Minton, Caleb Hurst, Richard O. Whitley, Walter M. Beale Jr., Richard T. Evans, Franklin Whitley, and W. Marvin Worrell. A native of Hertford County, she was the wife of William Fletcher Worrell Sr. and a daughter of Ben and Mrs. Annie Smith Whitley. She was a member of Sunbeam Baptist Church in Handsom and its Ladies’ Bible Class and W.M.U. Besides her husband, surviving are a son, Wm. F. Worrell Jr. of Monroe, Mich., four sisters, Mrs. Clara Stephenson, Mrs. Louise Evans, Mrs. Mary McLawhorn, and Mrs. Doris W. Fuller, all of Portsmouth, and three brothers, Smith Whitley of Winton, Sam Whitley of Murfreesboro, Garnett Whitley of Franklin, and two grandchildren. Dora Marie (WHITLEY; Mrs. William F.
