Worrell of Southampton County, died Monday morning at the home of her son, Jesse J. Worrell in Portsmouth, following a brief illness. Besides her son she is survived by two daughters, Miss Pauline Worrell of Portsmouth and Mrs. C.A. Ruckle of Newsoms; two brothers, J.L. Vincent of Conway, N.C., and J.A. Pope of Carrsville, and one sister, Miss Mollie Worrell of Newsoms. Services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at 3:00 o’clock at the graveside in Newsoms Cemetery by the Rev. C.F. Moseley of Newsoms Methodist Church. Pallbearers were Melton Worrell, Earl Worrell, Shelton Worrell, Fenton Ferguson, Felton Bryant, Bobbie and Jack Baker, Raleigh Hanrahan.
