She was a daughter of James Thomas and Mrs. Annie Whitehead Worrell of Southampton County and a member of Vincent Grove Methodist Church. Surviving are a sister, Miss Annie Worrell of Courtland; a nephew, Allen Ray Worrell of Courtland; and four nieces, Mrs. Charles Crowder of Portsmouth, Mrs. James Cogsdale of Newsoms, Mrs. Eugene Grizzard of Capron and Miss Helen Worrell of Courtland. The body was taken to W.J.M. Holland and Sons Funeral Home in Franklin. A funeral service will be conducted Tuesday at 3 p.m. in Riverside Cemetery by the Rev. J.S. Peebles of Vincent Grove Methodist Church. The family has requested that flowers be omitted. Pallbearers were Laurie Worrell Harvey Stevenson, Ben Knight, Beaman Davis, Allen Grubbs, and Bradford Whitehead.
