Hudson Worrell died of typhoid fever at his home two miles from Boykins, Monday morning about 8 o'clock and was buried Tuesday afternoon in the cemetery at Newsoms, Rev. H.P. Dalton of the Boykins Baptist church, conducting the services. The pallbearers were: A.S. Francis, B.F. Britt, W. Herbert Britt, N.S. Beaton, W.W. White, Jr. and A.P. Minshew. Deceased was only twenty-eight years of age, just in the prime of young manhood, and his death was peculiarly sad, leaving as he did a widow, two young daughters and two step-daughters who are so sorely bereft of his loving care and protection. He was a consistent member of the Boykins Baptist church, faithful to his duties and obligations, - a man who will be missed among his friends and neighbors whom he was always ready and willing to aid in every possible way.
