All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ JOHN BUNYAN* WORRELL Mr. John Bunyan Worrell was born in Southampton County, Va., March 15th, 1868, and died at his home near the place of his birth on August 11th, 1918. He married Miss Roxie Worrell, who, with his children, Mrs. J.R. Gilliam, Misses Clara and Sallie Worrell, Messrs. John R., George, and Elias Worrell, live to mourn their geat loss. Mr. Worrell was a consistent member of Newsoms M.E. Church for a number of years. He was a devoted husband and father and a kind and courteous neighbor, living his entire life in and near the place of his birth. His funeral was conducted from Mr. Horeb M.E. Church, by his pastor, Rev. W.R. Evans, Rev. L.F. Paulette and Mr. L.J. Derby concluding the services at the grave in the cemetery at Newsoms.
