MARY LUCY RICKS WORRELL 

   BOYKINS - A funeral service for Mrs. Mary Lucy Ricks Worrell was conducted 
at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in McDowell Funeral Home by the Rev. Roy A. Arnold. 
Burial was in Newsoms Cemetery, Boykins.

   Mrs. Worrell, 84, died in her home near here Monday at 6:45 p.m.

   A native of Southampton County, she was the widow of Emmett Fletcher 
Worrell and a daughter of Matt and Mrs. Sally Sykes Ricks.

   She was a member of Hebron Baptist Church.

   Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. C.L. Hardison of Sneads Ferry, N.C.; a son, 
Howard J. Worrell of Boykins; a sister, Mrs. Eura L. Johnson of Richmond; a 
brother, David Ricks of Emporia; 21 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; 
and two great-great-grandchildren.
