OPHELIA E. WORRELL 

Young Girl is Dead After Short Illness 

Miss Ophelia E. Worrell, age 15, died Sunday night at the home of her parents, 
Mr. and Mrs. B.R. Worrell, near Zuni Va. after a short illness.  She is 
survived by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. B.R. Worrell, of Zuni, one sister Ruby 
Worrell, of Zuni, Va. and two brothers, Felton and Aubrey Worrell, of Zuni, 
also her grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. J.H. Horn, and Mrs. J.R. Worrell, all of 
Zuni, Va. 

The funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at Tucker 
Swamp church, conducted by Rev. E.G. McGee.  Interment will be in church 
cemetery.

MISS OPHELIA E. WORRELL DIES AT HER PARENTS' HOME NEAR ZUNI 

  Suffolk, Feb. 4 - Miss  Ophelia E. Worrell, 15, died last night at the home 
of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. B.R. Worrell, near Zuni, after a short illness. 
She is survived by her parents; one sister, Ruby Worrell; two brothers, Fenton 
and Aubrey Worrell, and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Horn and Mrs. R.J. 
Worrell, all of Zuni.

  Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Tucker Swamp 
Church, by the Rev. E.G. McGee.  Burial was in the church cemetery.


Ophelia E. WORRELL, daughter of Benjamin R. & J. Helen (HORNE) WORRELL, 
Southampton Co. native, d. 8 Feb 1929, at home, near Zuni, age 15, 
interred in Tucker Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery*, 10 Feb 1929, 
donated obit, publication unknown - found in the diary of Percy BRADSHAW, 
   taped to page dated Jan. 31, 1929; 
"The Smithfield (VA) Times," Vol. 8, No. 33, Feb. 7, 1929 

*Her parents & paternal grandparents are also buried there.
