Henry L. Foster, pastor of the Holland Baptist Church, officiating. Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery. The pall was of Easter lilies and red and white carnations. William Darden sang "In the Garden," and Mrs. Claudie Jacobs sang "Jesus Savior, Pilot Me." Pallbearers were Shirley Blythe, Romie Holland, William E. Holland, Clinton Worrell, Elmo Worrell and Roy Worrell.
