Worrell, Prominent Farmer, Dies Suddenly Early This Morning After Brief Illness. William J. Worrell, a prominent farmer of Southampton county, Virginia, died very suddenly this morning at 3:10 o'clock at his home near Zuni, Va., after a brief illness, aged 40 years. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mamie H. Worrell, and one son, Mayo Worrell, of Zuni; his mother, Mrs. Martha Worrell, of Zuni; four sisters and three brothers, Mrs. J.R. Worrell, Mrs. L.F. Clark, and Mrs. Henry Phelps, all of Southampton county; Mrs. P.W. Joyner, Isle of Wight; B.R. Worrell and P.S. Worrell, of Southampton county; C.J. Worrell, of Norfolk; also a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock at Tucker Swamp Church, conducted by the Rev. Gordon T. Price and the Rev. Vernon L. Bishop. Interment will be made in the church cemetery.
