Warren, age 77 years, died at his home in Berlin Wednesday, February 12, 1930. He was a consistent member of Millfield Baptist Church, joining at the age of 12 and was one of its oldest members. Surviving him are his widow, who was Miss Evelyn Womble; one son, W.T. Warren; a daughter, Mrs. Owen Bulls; two brothers, W.R. and A.J. Warren; three sisters, Mrs. Rosa Bulls, Mrs. Lucy Slade and Mrs. Cora White; and eight grandchildren. Interment was made in the family burying ground at the home of his brother, A.J. Warren, services being conducted by his pastor, Rev. W.M. Hall, of Ivor. The body bearers were: Fugate, Province, Howard and Willie Warren, Owen Bulls and Junius White. Honorary: J.W. White, Richard Bulls, A.J. Warren, C.H. Slade, R.U. Laine, J.T. Bulls, C.E. Hines, W.W. Laine, W.H. Boykins, Marion Raiford, J.W. Bulls, C.W. Kitchen and J.H. Baynard.
