Cemetery list gives middle name as Frances, rather than Franklin. Southampton County Historical Society {SCHS} Cemetery Project, Miscellaneous Vol. 8 (VIII-41): http://files.usgwarchives.net/va/southampton/cemeteries/miscvol8.txt Cemetery list and record of 1st marriage (4 Feb 1862) give his first name as Raynor, not Raner. (Southampton Co. MB1A:12; M.Reg. 1853-72, p. 10, ln. 6) The decedent apparently went by "Frank." The cemetery list mentions that he served in the 13th Va.Cav., CSA. The regimental history that no service record was found, but that "Frank Barham" appeared on post-war lists, as a member of Co. A, the Southampton Cavalry. (Balfour, Daniel T.
