SOUTHAMPTON COUNTY, VA - WILLS AND ESTATES - Ann Atkinson, 12 Feb 1794 --------------¤¤¤¤¤¤-------------- Will: Ann Atkinson, Southampton Co, VA (1794) IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN, I Ann Atkinson of Southampton County being in a low state of health but in perfect sound sense & memory do this twelfth day of February one thousand seven hundred and ninety four make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following, that is to say: Item: I give and bequeath to my daughter Ann Atkinson one feather bed and the furniture belonging therein to (her), also all my wearing clothes and one large chest and whatsoever shall be found therein at my decease, also one wheel and one cards and all my cotton ___ & her heirs forever. Item: I give and bequeath to my son Elisha Atkinson one feather bed & furniture belonging thereto and his heirs forever. Item: I give and bequeath to my son Elias Atkinson one feather bed and the furniture belonging thereunto and his heirs forever. Item: All the remaining part of my estate out doors and in doors I desire to be equally divided between my daughter Rachel Williams and my daughter Elizabeth Delk, my son Elias Atkinson and my son Elisha Atkinson and my daughter Ann Atkinson, they, and their heirs forever. Item: I do make and ordain my son Elias Atkinson sole Executor of this my Last Will and Testament.
