        will, 26 May 1808 (pr'd 18 Jul 1808)

In the Name of God Amen I. Patsey Branch of the County of Southampton 
being Sick and weak in body but of Sound mind and memory do 
make and ordain this as and my last will and Testament &C 
Item.  I. give and bequeath to Sally English daughter of John English one 
pide heifer to her and her heirs forever 
Item.  I. give and bequeath to my two daughters Becky Branch and Patsey 
Branch three head of Cattle with their increase, two feather beds 
Steads and furniture, One Gray Horse named roman, also the 
and Sole of my estate to be equally divided between them, to 
them and their heirs forever &C

And lastly my desire is that my Brother Joseph Britt Should act as 
my whole and Sole Executor to this my last will and testament _ In 
witness whereof I have have hereunto Set my hand and fixed my Seal this 26th 
day of May 1808_

1808.  This will was presented in Court by Joseph Britt the executor nam
=ed in the will  proved by the oaths of Benj. White and Sally Stephen
=son two of the witnesses hereto and Ordered to be recorded__  And on 
the motion of the Said executor who made oath according to law, probat 
is granted him thereof in due form on giving Security, whereupon &C
