SOUTHAMPTON COUNTY, VA - WILLS AND ESTATES - Thomas Bradshaw, 16 Sep 1796 --------------¤¤¤¤¤¤-------------- IN THE NAME OF GOD Amen, I Thomas Bradshaw of Southampton County do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form as follows, viz: First, I give to my wife Susannah Bradshaw the use of the plantation whereon I now live with all the land thereunto belonging during her natural life, after her decease, I give the said land to my son William Bradshaw to him and his heirs forever & I also give to my son William Bradshaw my coopers tools, also my gun. Second, I give to my wife Susannah the use of all the remainder of my estate & every kind, after the payment of my just debts during her natural life & that she has liberty to make use or dispose of any part thereof as may afford necessary for her support, and after her decease, to be equally divided between my three children (to wit) William Martha, Eria Bradshaw (only excepted one feather bed & furniture, I give to my daughter Eria).
