All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ Elizabeth (WHITFIELD) CRENSHAW, will dated 7 Aug 1805*, recorded Aug 1808 In the name of God Amen, I, Elizabeth Cranshaw of the parish of St. Luke's and County of Southampton being of Sound and perfect mind and Memory thanks be to god for the Same do therefore ["make" omitted] and ordain this and no other to be my last will and Testament hereby Revoking and making Void all former wills heretofore made Vizt: First I give and bequeath my Soul to god that gave it Surely trusting through the meditation of my blessed Saviour Jesus Christ to receive the Same at the General Resurrection and my body to be decently buried at the Discretion of my Executors herein after named and as for my real and personal Estate I give and dispose of it in manner & form following_ Item. I give and bequeath unto my daughter Polly Crenshaw all that I am possessed with and the Increase to her and to her heirs forever_ and if and (dupe) She Should die without heir __ Item. then to fall Decend to my Two Sisters that is to be equally divided Between Sally Revell and Polly Johnson to them and their heirs forever aforesaid_ Lastly I make and ordain Jordan Johnson and William Furgason as my full and Sole Executors of this my last will and testament_ In Witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and affixed my Seal this 7th Day of August 1805. This will was presented in Court by Wm.
