In the name of God Amen. 
   I, E.R. DARDEN being of sound mind do make this my last will and testament. 
   I desire that my Executor hereinafter named, provide for my body a decent 
burial and pay all of my just debts. 
Item 1-  I hereby give unto Walter Wallace WHITE, son of W.W. WHITE, Boykins, 
Va., all of my estate both real and personal of which I may die seized 
possessed. 
   I hereby appoint W.W. WHITE Executor of my estate and request the Court to 
allow him to qualify without giving bond and security. 
Given under my hand this 20th. day of September, 1905.

            J.T. BARNES 

Codicil- 
   It is my desire that Francis Elizabeth WHITE daughter of W.W. WHITE share 
equally with Walter Wallace WHITE in my estate. 
Given under my hand this June 3" 1911.

            W.Herbert BRITT. 


Virginia:  In the Clerk's Office of the Circuit Court of Southampton County, 
8" day of July, 1914. 
   A writing purporting to be the last Will and testament of E.R. DARDEN, 
deceased, Was produced in the Clerk's Office for probate and proved by the 
oath of B.F. BRITT, one of the subscribing witnesses thereto, he being duly 
sworn, deposed and says that he and W.Herbert BRITT, the other subscribing 
witness, signed the said writing at the request of the Testator, in his 
presence and in the presence of each other.  Whereupon, the said writing is 
ordered to be recorded as and for the last Will & Testament, with codicil 
annexed, of the said E.R. DARDEN, deceased.
