SOUTHAMPTON COUNTY, VA - WILLS AND ESTATES - Ephraim Faircloth, 1 Sep 1802 --------------¤¤¤¤¤¤-------------- Will: Ephraim Faircloth, St.Lukes Parish, Southampton Co, VA (1802) IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN, I Ephraim Faircloth of the County of Southampton and Parish of St. Lukes, do make and ordain this my last will and testament as follows, to witt: Item: I give and bequeath to my loving wife one bed and furniture, to her and her heirs forever. Item: I give and bequeath to my daughter Charlotte one bed & furniture, to her and her heirs forever. Item: I give and bequeath to my son Cordy, one black colt, to him & his heirs forever. My will & desire is that my just debts and funerell expences be paid out of my estate and the residue of my whole estate, not above mentioned, I give to my wife, to her and her heirs forever. And further, my will and desire is that my wife keep the rest of my children on the profits of my estate. And I do appoint my friend Bailey Barnes and Collin Barnes my whole and sole Executors of this my Last Will and Testament.
