HARRIS [brackets & surname capitalization mine] [p] 779 In The Name of God Amen I Edmund HARRIS of the County of Southampton being Week of body, but of Sound and disposing Mind & Memory and willing to Presents [should read 'Prevent'] disputes in My Family about my estate after my death do make this my last will & Testament in manner and form following (To Wit) Imprimis I Lend to My Loving Wife Elizabeth HARRIS during her natural Life the use of all my Negroes To Bill brandon Dick Collin Ben Cannon Sarah Ancka Surry and Peg Together with my Stile Stock of all Kinds Plantation Utensils and all my Household & Kitchen furniture and all the Corn and Bacon the plantation at the time of my Decease- Item I Give and bequeath To the Two Daughters of Landon HARRIS (To witt) Penny Car HARRISS and Jinny HARRISS After the Death of my Wife One sixth Part of my said Estate lent To my wife to be equally Divided between the Said Penny Carr.
