All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ Levina (Mrs. Joseph) HART, will dated 25 Mar 1844, proved 19 Oct 1846 [margin note] Levina Hart I Levina Hart of the County of Southampton and State of Virginia being of sound mind and memory do hereby make and constitute this writing to be my Last will and testament in manner and form following hereby revoking all former Wills or testaments by me made Viz.t Item the 1.st I wish all my just debts to be paid out of my estate. Item 2.d I Give unto my son James B. Hart one dollar to him and his heirs forever. Item 3.d I Give unto my daughter Mary B. Bailey one feather bed and furniture one chest and one cow to her and her heirs forever Item 4.th I Give unto my son Joseph W. Hart all the remainder of my estate of whatsoever nature or kind it may be or consist of (which I have heretofore given away or disposing of in this Will) I Give the same to them and his heirs forever 5.th I do hereby constitute and appoint my son Joseph W. Urquhart being sworn and examined deposeth and saith that he has frequently seen the said Holleman write and from his knowledge of his writing he believes the signature to the said Will to be in the proper hand writing of the said George B.
