SOUTHAMPTON COUNTY, VA - WILLS AND ESTATES - Henry Harris, 6 Feb 1791

Will: Henry Harris, St. Luke Parish, Southampton Co, VA 

IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN, I Henry Harris of the Parish of Saint Lukes
and County of Southampton are at present very sick and weak of body
but of sound mind and memory do make and ordain this my last will and
testament in manner and form following herewith:

Item: I give and bequeath unto my daughter Nancey Harris all my
estate of kinds either real or personal of all sorts whatever to her
and her heirs forever, but should my daughter Nancey Harris die before
she arrives to the age of twenty one or have lawfull issue of her
body, my desire is my estate be equally divided between all the
children that are then living of my four brothers, to wit: Benjamin,
Abraham, Mashalend, Handy and to be to them and their heirs forever.

I do nominate and appoint my trusty friends Lawrence Smith and
Henry Smith my hole and sole Executors of this my Last Will & Testament.

IN WITNESS I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 6th of
February one thousand seven hundred and ninety one.

This Will was presented in Court by Henry Smith, one of the Executors
therein named, proved by the oaths of William Drewry and Cealia
Council, two of the witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded
and on the motion of the said Executor, who made oath according to
law, certificate is granted him for obtaining a Probat thereof in
due form giving security whereupon &c.
