SOUTHAMPTON COUNTY, VA - WILLS AND ESTATES - Elizabeth Harris, 1 Jun 1800 --------------¤¤¤¤¤¤-------------- IN THE NAME OF (GOD) AMEN, I Elizabeth Harris of the county of Southampton, being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form following, to wit: Item: I give and bequeath to my daughter Charlotte Turner all my wearing apparel, also all the cloth that may be found that was intended to make clothes, to her and her heirs forever. My will and desire is that the residue of my estate of what nature or kind soever be sold and the money arising from such sale to be equally divided between money (my) four children, to wit: Sterling Harris, James Harris, John and Charlotte Turner, to them and their heirs. It is my will and desire that their shall not be any appraisement on my estate. And lastly, I constitute and nominate my son James Harris my Executor of this my Last Will (and) Testament hereby revoking all former Wills made by me.
