SOUTHAMPTON COUNTY, VA - WILLS AND ESTATES - Samuel Hart, 2 Aug 1793

IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN, August the second one thousand seven hundred and
ninety three, I Samuel Hart of Southampton County do make and order this to be
my last will & testament & for what temporal estate it hath been pleased God
to bestow on me, I dispose of in form & manner following:

Imprimis:  I give to my brother Henry Hart my saddle & bridle & likewise free
priviledge of the timber on my land.

Item: I give to my sister Rebeccah Hart my land containing one hundred &
fourteen acres more or less to her and her heirs forever, on provision she
will pay Richard Andrews for the said land and if she refuses paying the said
Andrews my land shall be sold & make him hole.

Item: All the residue of my estate, let it be of what nature soever, to be 
equally divided between my three brothers Henry, John & Charles Hart.

Item: I do make and order my brother Henry Hart and Thomas Washington my hole
& sole Executors of this my Last Will & Testament the day & year above written.

Benjamin Bailey
William Atkinson
John Andrews

               At a Court held for the County of Southampton
                      the 12th day of September 1793

This Will was presented in court by Henry Hart, one of the Executors therein
named (the other refusing) & proved by the oath of William Atkinson & John
Andrews, the witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded, and on the motion
of the said Executor, who made oath according to law, Certificate is granted
him for obtaining a Probat thereof in due form giving security whereupon &c.
