SOUTHAMPTON COUNTY, VA - WILLS AND ESTATES - Richard Kello, 25 May 1789 --------------¤¤¤¤¤¤-------------- Wills: Richard Kello, Southampton Co, VA (1790) IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN, I Richard Kello of the County of Southampton being sick and weak but of disposing mind and memory do make this writing as my last Will and Testament. Impremis: I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary Cocke my negro woman Leah with all here children and their increase excepting my waiting man Isaac who, in consideration of his faithful service I hereby manumit and set free. Item: All the rest of my estate whether real personal or mixt or wheresoever found I give devise and bequeath to my son Samuel Kello and to his heirs forever and I appoint my son Samuel sole Executor of this my Last Will & Testament for the purposes of conveying my intentions into effect which I have heretofore made him acquainted with. I have thought proper to leave my son Richard dependant on my Executor for reasons which I have fully explained to them and I have perfect confidence that my son Samuel will perform my intentions in such manner as I should have done myself. IN WITNESS whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 25th day of May 1789. R.
