SOUTHAMPTON COUNTY, VA - WILLS AND ESTATES - Benjamin Kindred, 9 Feb 1793

IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN, I Benjamin Kindred being in my perfect sense and
memory do make this my last will testament in manner and form as followeth:

I give and bequeath unto my mother Ann Kindred during her life one neg. Selah,
one sorrell horse and one sorrell mare colt.

I give and bequeath unto my brother John Kindred one negro girl Sylva to him
and his heirs forever.

I give and bequeath unto my brother Elisha Kindred all my lands to him & his
heirs forever.

I give unto my sister Mary Edwards, after paying my just debts, the remaining
part of my estate and also what I have given my mother after her death.

I do appoint my friend George Blunt whole & sole Executor of this my Last Will
and Testament.

IN WITNESS whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 9 day
of February 1793.

This Will was presented in court by George Blunt, the Executor therein
nam'd & prov'd by the oaths of Drew Powell & Hosea Newton, two of the
witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded.  And on the motion of the
said Executor who made oath according to law, Certificate is granted
him for obtaining a Probat thereof in due form giving security whereupon &c.
