I believe N may equal narrow, D may equal dressing [or draw]; these are guesses on my part. A steer yoke is a wooden frame with a bar with loops or bows at either end used for harnessing together a pair of oxen (or steers). Taylor's goose - one definition in the dictionary is: a tailor's smoothing iron, so called from the resemblance of its handles to the neck of a goose. A roan is a descriptive color of a horse. A loggerhead - a spherical mass of iron with a long handle, used to heat tar. The £, s, d stands for librae solide denarii or pounds/shillings and pence which was the currency of the time. This inventory was very difficult to read - writing was very small and letters close together. I include this portion of the document in the event it may be of interest to those researching the Lancaster name.
