SOUTHAMPTON COUNTY, VA - WILLS AND ESTATES - John Lundy, 18 Oct 1799 --------------¤¤¤¤¤¤-------------- I, John Lundy, of Southampton County do hereby make my last will and testament in manner and form following, that is to say: First, I give to John Rivers the following negroes namely: Cesar, Tom, Sam, Hannah, Sylvia, Sall, Mason, Suckey, Judah, and Jenny, and all their future increase, also all my household furniture and every thing I now possess not herein mentioned to him and his heirs forever. It is my wish and desire that none of my estate should be inventory'd or appraised. And lastly, I do hereby constitute and appoint my friend John Rivers, Henry Smith Executors of this my Last Will and Testament hereby revoking all other or former Wills or Testaments by me heretofore made.
