SOUTHAMPTON COUNTY, VA - WILLS AND ESTATES - John Lundy, 18 Oct 1799

I, John Lundy, of Southampton County do hereby make my last will and testament
in manner and form following, that is to say:

First, I give to John Rivers the following negroes namely: Cesar, Tom, Sam,
Hannah, Sylvia, Sall, Mason, Suckey, Judah, and Jenny, and all their future
increase, also all my household furniture and every thing I now possess not
herein mentioned to him and his heirs forever.

It is my wish and desire that none of my estate should be inventory'd or
appraised.

And lastly, I do hereby constitute and appoint my friend John Rivers, Henry
Smith Executors of this my Last Will and Testament hereby revoking all other
or former Wills or Testaments by me heretofore made.

IN WITNESS whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affix'd my seal this 18th
day of October 1799.

                          the 16th day of December 1799

This Will was prov'd by the oaths of Benjamin Blunt Jr, James Wilkinson, two
of the witnesses thereto, sworn to by John Rivers, one of the Executors
therein named who gave oath & liberty being reserved for the other to
quallify, a Certificate is granted them for obtaining a Probat thereof in due
form, thereupon &c it ordered to be recorded.
