I William PEELE of the County of Southampton and State of Virginia do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in Manner and form following {Viz:}: 1.st I desire that all my just debts and funeral expences to be paid: 2.ndy After the payment of my debts and funeral expences, I give to my wife Elizabeth F. PEELE all the property that I die Seised and possessed, both real and personal, and the increase thereof (except two Small legacies hereafter Mentioned) to her the said and her heirs forever.- 3.rdy I give to my Daughter Henrietta PEELE five dollars. 4.thly I give to my Daughter Mary Jane PEELE five dollars. And lastly I do hereby Constitute and appoint my wife Elizabeth F. PEELE Sole executrix of this my last Will and Testament, (without giving Security) hereby revoking all other former Wills or Testaments by me made: In Witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and affixed my Seal this 19.th day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and thirty nine: W:m PEELE *seal* Signed Sealed published and delivered by: William PEELE as and for his last Will and testament, in the presence and hearing of us: who at his request and in his presence have Subscribed our names as witnesses: Stephen MURDAUGH } Harrison D. MOORE two of the subscribing witnesses thereto- and Ordered to be Recorded: And on the Motion of Elizabeth F. PEELE the executrix therein named who made oath and and gave bond: {the Will directing no security should be given and the Court requesting none} in the penalty of Six thousand dollars conditioned as the law directs, certificate is granted her for obtaining a probat of Said Will in due form.
