All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ Drewry POND (1770-1800), will dated 15 Feb 1800, proved 17 Feb 1800 In the name of God amen I Drewry Pond of the County of Southampton being sick of body but of sound mind and good memory do make and ordain this to be my last will and Testament in manner & form following here revoking and disannulling all other Wills heretofore by me made _ viz__ Fist I leave Thirty acors of my land to be sold. a Joining John Pond & John Morrises, Land also ajoyne the the (dup) rod__ Second, I also leave one Cow and Two Yearlings to be sold__ Third, I also leave Two Sows & pigs to be Sold __ Forth, I also leave Three Sheep to be Sold __ Fifth, I also leave one Filly to be Sold __ These articles that I above mention is all to be sold for Twelve months Credit. All the Remainder of my Estate I leave to my Beloved Wife dureing her natural life or Widowhood_ After her death or Marriage to be sold to the highest bidder giving twelve moths Credit the money arise from the sail to be Equally divided between all my Children which they are to reserve as they Come to the Years of Twenty One __ I desire that Samuel Pond and William Wellons and thomasd.* shall praise and Settle my estate paying my Just debts out of the same __ I nominate and appoint my brother Samuel Pond and William Wellons and Thomas Wood to Executors of this my last will and Testament whereof I have hereunt set my hand & seal this Fifteenth day of February 1800.
