Devised August 31, 1750, Registered March 8, 1753. In the Name of God Amen, I Katherine Stephenson of the County of Southampton being sick and weak but praised be God of perfect sense and memory do make and appoint this my Last will and Testament. Imprimiss, I Humbly Recommend my Soul to God that Gave it Stedfastly Trusting to his Gracious acceptation thereof and my body I Commit to the Earth to be decently entorred at the discretion of my Executor hereafter Named and for what worldly Estate it hath pleased God of his Goodness to bless me with I Give and dispose thereof as follows: First I give and devise to my Son George Stephenson one pewter plate. Item I give and devise to my Son William Stephenson one pewter plate. Item I give and devise to my daughter Elizabeth Matthews and Sarah Stephenson the wife of Soloman Stephenson all my Clothes to be equally Divided. Item I give and devise after my funeral expenses are paid and discharged all the rest and residue of my Estate Real and personal to my Son Soloman Stephenson. And Lastly I Nominate and appoint my Son Soloman Stephenson to be Executor of this my Last will and Testament Hereby Revokeing and making void all other wills and Testaments by me at anytime heretofore made. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this Thirty first Day of August Anno Dom 1750. At a Court held for the County of Southampton on Thursday the 8 Day of March 1753. This Will was presented in Court by Soloman Stephenson the Executor therein named proved by the oath of Timothy Thorp a Witness thereto and ordered to be Recorded and on the Motion of the said Executor Certificate is granted for obtaining a probat thereof in due form giving Security.
