I Thomas Summerell of Southampton County do hereby make my last Will and 
testament in manner and form following, that is to say: 
1.st  I desire that all my just debts may be paid out of my Estate by my 
Executors hereafter named 
2.nd  I give and bequeath to my Brother Herrod Summerell all the remainder of my 
Estate both Real and Personal of what nature or kind soever it may be _ 
And Lastly I do Constitute & appoint my (above named) brother Herrod Summerell 
Executor of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all other or former 
wills by me made In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Affixed my 
seal this [blank] day of [blank] in the year of our lord One Thousand Eight 
hundred and One

Zachry  x  Doyel}       Herrod Summerel the executor therein named proved by the 
       mark             oaths of Carr Doyel & Zachry Doyel two of the witnesses 
thereto, and Ordered to be recorded, and on the Motion of the s.d executor  Who 
made Oath according to law. probat is granted in due form on Giving bond and 
Security whereupon &c.__
