SOUTHAMPTON COUNTY, VA - WILLS AND ESTATES - Thomas Summerell, 1801

I Thomas Summerell of Southampton County do hereby make my last will and
testament in manner and form following, that is to say:

1st, I desire that all my just debts may be paid out of my estate by my
Executor hereafter named.

2nd, I give and bequeath to my brother Hurod Summerell all the remainder of my
estate both real and personal of what nature or kind soever it may be.

And lastly, I do constitute & appoint my (above named) brother Hurod Summerell
Executor of this my Last Will and Testament hereby revoking all other or
former Wills by me made.

IN WITNESS whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this
____(blank) day of _____(blank) in the year of our Lord one thousand eight
hundred and one.

in the presents of us:

               At a Court held for the County of Southampton
                      the 21st day of February 1803

This Will was presently (presented) in court by Hurod Summerell, therein
named, proved by the oaths of Can Doyel and Zachry Doyel, two of the witnesses
thereto, and ordered to be recorded, and on the motion of the said Executor
who made oath according to law, Probat is granted in due form on giving bond
and security, whereupon &c.
