Whereas an Estate in Slaves at this time being very uncertain, and is likely to be more so, it would be unreasonable that my Son Henry Taylor (if any loss of the slaves given him or their Increase should be sustained by any such slave or slaves going to the Enemy) should suffer the whole loss. Therefore it is my desire that my son should bear only an equal proportion with his three Sisters Charlotte, Mary and Martha to whom he is to deliver at a certain period out of his Estate to a certain value mentioned in the Will Witness my hand this 11.th Day April 1781. ______"______" _______" ___ Signed and sealed in presence of Henry Taylor ¤seal¤ Mary Mason Taylor, Robert Taylor ŻŻŻŻŻ"ŻŻŻŻŻŻ At a Court held for the County of Southampton the 14.th day of June 1781.
