Charlie's Hope Dec 9" 1890 This is my will and testament, After all of my Just debts are paid, I give to my four Nieces Maria Louisa Urquhart, Martha Rebecca Antionett Urquhart, Annie Blunt Urquhart, and Lucy Williamson Urquhart, all of my property, of every description, real and Chattel to have and do as they wish to, and to be theirs for ever, Written in my own hand this 9.th day december 1890 W.H. Urquhart I wish the Court to allow Maria Louisa Urquhart to qualify as executrix on my estate without security. W.H. Urquhart Southampton County Court January term 1900 A writing purporting to be the last will and testament of W.H. Urquhart decd, was produced in Court, and there being no subscribing witnesses thereto, E. Whitfield and Jas.E. Sebrell were sworn and severally deposed that they are well acquainted with the hand writing of the testator, and verily believe the said writing and the name thereto subscribed to have been wholly written by the testators own hand, where upon the said writing and codicil is ordered to be recorded as and for the last will and testament of the said W.H. Urquhart deceased, and on the motion of Maria Louisa Urquhart the executrix therein named, who made Oath according to law, entered into and acknowledged a bond in the penalty of seven thousand dollars; conditioned according to law (but without security, the will directing that none be required and the Court requiring none) which bond is ordered to be recorded, Certificate is granted the said Maria Louisa Urquhart for obtaining a probate of the said Will in due form, and on the motion of the said Adm'x, E.F. Reese, E. Whitfield, J.W. Urquhart Jr. A.B. Urquhart, and W.H. Gray are appointed appraisers, any three of whom may act, who being duly sworn will appraise the estate of the said decendent, and return the same under their hands as the law directs Teste: B.F.
