Joseph Vick of the County of Southampton and Town of Jerusalem being now Sick but of Sound mind and memory do ordain this to be my last Will and Testament to Wit ~ 1st. I give and bequeath to my beloved Wife Fereby Vick, my Lott and house Whereon I now live No. 12 during her widowhood or natural life and in Case She marries or dies then the Said Lott and House No. 12, to be equally divided between my Two Daughters Nancy Vick, or in other words Nancy Doyal, and Martha Vick to them and their heirs forever_ but if they Should both die without Heirs then it is my will that Clabourn Vick Son of Simmons Vick Should have the Sd. lott and house forever~ I do wish all my house hold and Kitchen Furniture be Sold and the money arising therefrom to pay all my just Debts and the balance if any to be divided between my Said wife & Two daughters Nancy & Martha ~ And lastly. Sebrell Benj: Cobb Colin Kitchen ŻŻŻŻ ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ At a Court held for the County of Southampton on the 21st day of January 1806 This will was presented in Court proved by the oaths of James Sebrell and Collin Kitchen two of the witnesses hereto and ordered to be recorded ~ and Josiah Vick the executor named in the will refusing in Court to qualify thereto; therefore on the motion of Pherebe Vick who made oath according to law for administration with the will annexed on sd. estate the same is granted her on giving bond & Security Whereupon &c~ -- not signed by clerk -- Transcriber note: Will is actually of Joseph Vick; clerk that entered the will wrote Josiah instead of Joseph in signature location.
