Samuel WOODARD, will dated 25 Mar 1752, proved 14 May 1752 

Samuel 
Woodard's 
   Will 

I Samuel Woodard weak in body but of Perfect Sence I 
make this my Last will and Testament as Follows 

Item  I Leave to Henry Johnson the Plantation he now Lives on 
with one hundred and Twenty acres I Leave it to him and his 
Heirs forever Paying Thirty five Pounds Current Money 
into the Estate. 

Item  I Leave to my Son Ruben Woodard. one Gun and Sixteen 
Pounds Current Money _ 

Item  I Leave to my Son Charles Woodard the Plantation I now live 
on with two hundred and thirty acres I Leave to him and 
his Heirs forever _ 

Item  I Leave to my Wife Martha Woodard all the rest of my Estate I 
leave to her and her Despossal  I Leave to my wife and 
Henry Johnson my hole and Sole Executors of this my Last 
will and Testament as Witness my hand this Twenty fifth 
Day of March one thousand seven hundred and fifty two

At a Court held for the County of Southampton on Thursday the 14. 
May 1752 
This will was presented in Court by Martha Woodard and Henry 
Johnson the Ex'ors therein named  proved by the Oaths of Daniel 
Johnson & Jacob Johnson Witnesses thereto and Ordered to be 
Recorded  And on the Motion of the said Executors who made [oath] 
According to Law Certificate was granted them for obtaining a 
Probat thereof in due form given Security
