SOUTHAMPTON COUNTY, VA - WILLS AND ESTATES - Benjamin Whitfield, 1796 (partial) --------------¤¤¤¤¤¤-------------- I, Benjamin Whitfield, of Southampton County being weak in body but of sound memory, do make this writing in manner following as and for my last will and testament (viz): I give and bequeath unto my son Benjamin Whitfield, the plantation and lands whereon he now lives containing by estimation 335 acres to him and to his heirs and assigns forever. I give and bequeath to my son Reuben Whitfield the plantation and lands whereon he now lives consisting by estimation 345 acres to hold to him and to his heirs and assigns forever.
