SOUTHAMPTON COUNTY, VA - WILLS AND ESTATES - Epaphroditus Williams, 8 Apr 1791 --------------¤¤¤¤¤¤-------------- IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN I Epaphroditus Williams of Southampton County and state of Virginia being in perfect health, praise be God, do make this my last will and testament as followeth: Impremis: I give unto my son Ephraim Williams my land whereon I now live, it being a part of Robert Bryants pattain (patent) and bounded as follows, to wit: Beginning at a lightwood poist a corner in Jacob Williams line thence along the said Williams line to a post oak a corner in the said Jacob Wiliams line thence to a pine in Joel Edwards line thence along the said Edwards line to a corner tree of Robert Fergusans a willar oak in the said Edwards line thence along up the run of a branch of the Little Swamp to a black gum a corner of Edmond Barrets Sr in the said Fergusans line thence along the said Barrets line to a red oak thence along a line of new mark'd trees to the begining to him his heirs Executors Administrators or assigns and also after my decease all my houshold furniture and all my personal estate to be equally divided between my children which is: Ephraim Williams and Jacob Williams and Sarah Bryant and Elizabeth Worrell. And I do make my sons Ephraim Williams and Jacob Williams sole Executors of this my Last Will and Testament after paying my debts, legas (legal fees?) and funeral expences.
