Continue West on Route 3 to Salem Church road. Turn left(south) on Salem Church Road. Follow Salem church Road all the way to the Harrison Road-Salem Church Intersection (The road will change from Salem Church to Leavell's Road) Continue South until the intersection of Courthouse Road and Leavills Road Turn Right on Courthouse Road(rt208) Follow Courthouse Road going Southwest The Cemetery is on your left hand side before you reach the old Courthouse (it is approximately 4 miles down route 208) This Cemetery is under the care of the Ladies Memorial Association of Spotsylvania County. For more information pertaining to the cemetery you may visit the Historical Museum located very close to the Cemetery. To get to the museum pass the cemetery and take a left at the stop light(still rt.208) The Museum is two buildings down on your right. Any questions you might have concerning the cemetery the museum workers will be glad to help you. The Confederate Cemetery consists of 20 sections. Each section has just Confederate Soldiers in it, just residents of Spotsylvania County or both soldiers and residents. To recieve a map on what each section contains, visit the museum that was mentioned previously.
