The house is .7 mile from the road. Spotsylvania County There is an old burying ground on the hill above the house. It is unfenced and overgrown with honeysuckle and brush. It has only one stone which bears this inscription: Hon. John Lipscomb His wife Judith Day John Lipscomb His wife Mary Billingsley John Lipscomb Betty Elba Turner Lucy Watts Emily J.
