Witness our hands and Seals this 3rd Day of February 1729/30 The condition of the above obligation is Such that whereas the above Bound Jael Johnson hath Obtained a Lycence to Keep Ordinary at her Dwelling house hard by Fredericksburg in this County att her Said house. Witness our hands and Seals this third day of March 1729/30 The Condition of ye above obligation is such that whereas the above Bound Jael Johnson is licensed to keep a ferry at her house in the Said County over Rapahannock River - if therefore ?) the Said Jael Johnson Do Constantly During the time she must keep the Said ferry keep a substantial Gear of a sufficient bigness to Carry at Least two horses and constantly attend the said ferry and for the year give passage to to all Publick Expresses not asking or demanding any fare or ferrage thereon and Likewise in all points comply with what the law in Such cases providing doth enjoyn.
