December 25, 1809--First document where Margaret Giles signed her name as Margaret Mannan. June 18, 1849--Margaret received $675 dollars--due her as a result of her and her husband resuming housekeeping as she had previously lived with her children. Documents were hard to read and small writing made it impossible to make out all facts, but she had been off the pension for years, but was paid for those years she due.
