Lewis, Charles Yates?, Edward Freidon?, George Tibb__, gentlemen Justices of the County of Spotsylvania now sitting, in the sum of three thousand pounds to the payment whereof will and truly to be made to the said Justices and their successors, we bind ourselves and each of us, our and each of our heirs, Executors and Administrators jointly and severally firmly by these presents.  Sealed with our seals this fifteenth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred & seventy four and in the fifteenth year of the reign of our sovereign Lord George III. THE CONDITION of this obligation is such that if the above bound Sarah Dillard and John Dillard, Executors of the Last Will of Thomas Dillard, deceased, do make or cause to be made a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the goods, chattels and credits of the said deceased which have or shall come to the hands, possession or knowledge of the said Sarah Dillard and John Dillard or into the hands & possession of any other person or persons for them and the same so made do exhibit in the County Court of Spotsylvania at such time as they shall be thereunto required by the said court and the same goods, chattels and credits and all other the goods chattels & credits of the said deceased which at any time shall come to the hands possession or knowledge of the said Sarah Dillard, John Dilland or into the hands possession or knowledge of any other person or persons for them do will and truly administer according to law and further, do make a just and true account of all their actings and doings thereto when thereto required by the said court and also shall, will and truly pay and deliver all the legacies contained and specified in the said testament as far as the said goods, chattels and credits will hereunto extend and shall charge, then this obligation to be void and of none effect or else to remain in full force and virtue.
