NOTE: "Spotsylvania County, 1721-1800" (1905) by William Armstrong Crozier incorrectly abstracts the dates for the will of George Proctor. Crozier lists the date of the will's devising as March 23, 1730/31 rather than March 22, 1730/31. The author also incorrectly cites the date of probate as August 7, 1738. The will was probated on August 7, 1733, which is further confirmed by Spotsylvania County, VA Court Orders. Transcribed by Mark Valsame, Raleigh, NC.
