ROBERT MASSEY being Father to DADE MASSEY did by his Last Will and Testament bearing date the 22d of March 1685 give said three hundred acres to DADE MASSEY and DADE MASSEY conveyed to DADE MASSEY, JUNR. by Deed bearing date the 2d of November 1734 and DADE MASSEY JUNR devised unto LEE MASSEY by Will bearing date the 2d of February 1734; And in a Deed dated 8 December 1755 Stafford County I RANDAL HOLBROOK in consideration of the love I bear my loving Son in Law, SAMUEL EARLE and ELIZABETH his Wife, and likewise all my goods servant slaves and all other things to me belonging which my Wife, JENNETT HOLBROOK, deceased possessed Sam Sparacio ssantient@aol.com --------------- More from the Stafford Deeds. In an Order Book for a Court held 9 September 1690, one finds SAMPSON DARRELL, who married the sole Daughter now living of Capt. JOHN NORGRAVE, and complains that FRANCES, the Widow and Executrix appointed in Capt. John Norgrave's Will, doth as yet unjustly detain from him one Cow and Signet of Armes in right of MARGARET his Wife; therefore humbly prays that Dr. EDWARD MADDOCKS, who intermarried with FRANCES, the Widow and Executrix of JOHN NORGRAVE, deced.l; In an Order Book for a Court held 10 September 1690 FRANCIS DADE and FRANCES his Wife, one of the Daughters and coheirs of ROBERT TOWNSHEND, late deceased, and JOHN WASHINGTON, as Guardian of MARY TOWN-SHEND, another Daughter of ROBERT TOWNSHEND, deceased, sheweth that FRANCES TOWNSHEND the Mother of said ROBERT in her widowhood did on the 7th day of February 1650 procure a Patent; In an Order Book for a Court held 10 December 1690 DAVID LINDSEY made humble petition to this Court that he being sixty four yeares of age and haveing served in the Wars under King Charles the Second, both in England in in Foreign Countrys, and havening served the full time of yeares in this County with THOMAS GREGG . . . . . . exempted from paying for the future any publick duties or levies Sam Sparacio ssantient@aol.com --------------
